To facilitate the flow of ministry and to achieve maximum results in the ministry, it’s the church belief in the principles written in the book of Acts Chapter 2, where the Lord Jesus added to their numbers daily those that are being saved, as the early church devoted their time to Worship and prayer, to Outreach as they go from house to house, to Relationship as they would break bread together, and to Discipleship as they listen to the apostle’s teachings.

WORSHIP DEPARTMENT

Man was created by God to worship Him. From the time man was created, worship has been a major part of man’s life. In the book of Romans, we were told that in the heart of every individual there is the knowledge of a true God who is to be worshipped. The need to worship or desire to worship is born in every person. It is not something taught or learned or developed. It is created within us.

The first commandment given to man was to worship God (Exodus 20:1-3). All men are called to worship. The only thing Christian does on earth that he will do in heaven is worship. God requires that His people worship Him. It is not an option. It is not something we can decide to do if we feel like it. True believers who wish to fulfill the “Great Commission” worships the Living God. We can only draw men to God if we are true worshippers of God. We cannot expect people to do what we ourselves are not doing or are not able to do. In Psalm34, David first sang solo before he invited everyone to sing with him and worship God. God is seeking true worshipers.

The Worship Department is the arm of the church dedicated to worship, praise, prayer and proclamation of the Word.

OUTREACH DEPARTMENT

Jesus commanded His followers to go to the four corners of the earth and reach out the communities for Christ. We are driven by the last words of Jesus to His disciples to “Go into all the world, and make disciples in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.”(Matthew 28:19-20)

The Outreach Department is central to the continued health and growth of The Blessed Word Church. It is our belief that if the church will not reach out one day the Lord Jesus will become out of reach. We are to seek and save they that are lost in the same way as the Lord Jesus and his apostles did.

The objective of the Outreach Department is to mobilize the church in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to help transform the community both outwardly and inwardly.

Sseek and save the lost souls through house-to-house evangelization.

Vvoice out the goodness of God through crusade, concerts, and other evangelistic activities.

Eencourage every Christian to fulfill the Great Commission.
