The pandemic which the world is now fighting makes thousands of people sad and lonely. Life is becoming uncertain and there is no more reason left to rejoice. For how can we rejoice when we see thousands of people getting sick and die?
The Apostle Paul wrote: “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not put out the Spirit’s fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil. May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and He will do it.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-24)
It is the Lord’s will that we live our lives beautiful and joyful. Here are Paul’s message to us today:
- Be joyful always
- Pray continually
- Give thanks in all circumstances
- Rejoice in the Lord always and I say rejoice!
- Test everything
- Hold on to the good
- Avoid every evil and keep you spirit, soul and body blameless.
God is faithful. He will not abandon you in times of crisis. Just learn to live according to His will and be joyful in life. God wants to sanctify your life and make it joyful in every circumstance.
Be joyful always and see the wonderful life that you have in Christ.
