We Can Face Tomorrow

Depression when it hits us causes us to lose the reason for living. Some depressed people find it proper to commit suicide or do crazy things only to regret it someday.

What then should we do in times of depression?

When Bill Gaither and his wife fell into depression just when his son was born, did not allow the experience to get the best of him out. He believed that even in times of adversity, God is alive and He holds the morrow. Together with his wife, Bill wrote a Classic Christian song entitled “Because He Lives.”

He wrote:

Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.

All fear is gone. And because I know, he holds the future.

And life is worth the living just because He lives.

Jesus is alive. He is our blessed hope (Titus 2:13). In Him we are certain that each morning that comes our way is a wonderful day because of the Lord Jesus who makes our day beautiful.

Don’t lose hope. Trust in Jesus and don’t let the problem of the day get the best out from you.

In Christ, we can face tomorrow.
