Jeremiah 30:12-13, 17; Hosea 14

God knows our weakness. He knows how easily we get discouraged. But God’s grace is more than enough for us. Though we have been away from Him, He does remains faithful and true to us. He confronts us again and again until we finally give up and say, “Okay Lord, take control of my life. I am a sinner and living a miserable life. Do what you please.”

Israel was sick spiritually. Therefore, God reveals Himself to them as their Healer. Did you know that God is also a Doctor who can heal you from the worst like covid19?

Let us understand that our problem is our own doing. Return to the Lord and be healed (Hosea 14:1). Our own remedies are worthless. But God has a miracle cure that no one can offer. Return to Him, ask forgiveness and be healed. Hosea 14:2 – “Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to Him: ‘Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously, that we may offer the fruit of our lips.’”

God wants to hear from us. He wants us to approach Him with sincerity and honesty. No excuses. All He wants is a contrite heart ready to ask forgiveness from Him.

“I will heal their wickedness and love them freely, for my anger has turned away from them.” – Hosea 14:4
